New Patients
To schedule an initial appointment, please call the office number and leave a message for either Dr. Chernin or Dr. Egan in his/her voicemail. He/she will call you back as soon as possible. At the first visit, the psychologist will gather background information and discuss your concerns in order to make an initial plan.
If the client will be a minor (under age 18), the first appointment will sometimes be with the parent or parents alone. A decision about who will attend the first appointment will be discussed with you in advance, and a decision about how to best serve your child’s needs will be made together with you.
Current Patients
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please provide 24-hour notice. You may leave a message in the doctor’s voicemail and he/she will call you back.
If you need to contact your psychologist due to an urgent situation, please call the psychologist’s voicemail, leave your message, and then press *12. The psychologist will be notified and will return your call in a timely manner, typically within an hour.
