Drs. Chernin & Egan is a general psychological practice seving children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples for over 30 years.
We have two office locations:
Independence (Drs. Chernin & Egan)
Willoughby (Dr. Chernin only).

Evening and Saturday hours are available.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a Doctor of Psychology degree from Baylor University, and I have been in private practice for over 35 years. Previously, I worked at the Cleveland VA Medical Center, Lake County Mental Health Center, and Windsor Hospital. I have also completed the training in mediation required by the Ohio Supreme Court, and I have been providing mediation service for over 20 years. I am a member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, emphasizing alternative paths to divorce. I am married, with two grown children. .

Dr. Jeffrey Chernin
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD in clinical psychology from Kent State University. I have worked in a variety of settings in the Cleveland area, including the Cleveland VA Medical Center, St.Vincent Charity Hospital, and Windsor Hospital. I have been in private practice for over 30 years. I have been trained in mediation, and am a member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, focusing on alternative options for divorcing families. On a personal note, I am married with two grown children, and have been a life-long resident of the greater Cleveland area.
